Kim Lennox is a highly experienced breakdown artist in the film and theatre industry, boasting a career that began in 2011. Having graduated from Mount Royal College in 2009 with a diploma in Technical Theatre, Kim's thirst for knowledge led her to London, England, where she delved into technical effects for performance at the esteemed University of Arts London.
Since completing her studies in 2011, Kim has been an integral part of the costume departments in Calgary, Alberta, primarily focusing on breakdown work for various bl ockbuster movies such as "Ghostbusters: Afterlife," "Interstellar," "The Revenant," and acclaimed television series like "Fargo," "Hell on Wheels," and "Last of Us." Recognizing the scarcity of formal education in breakdown techniques, Kim and her best friend from Mount Royal College co-founded Costume Alchemy in 2019. Their mission was to impart their knowledge through workshops focused on costumes and props in film and theatre, with a passion for nurturing the next generation of artists. With her extensive industrial knowledge and her ability to connect with others through her love for her craft, she envisions creating a rewarding experience for aspiring artists in the local community.
