Digital Patterning in Practice

14 classes (14 weeks) 1 hours lectures Tuesday - 1 hour labs where we check in with eachother virtually Thursday

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Students will learn how we use Clo3d in the costume production process allowing them to support production through the digitizing of paper patterns (storage and archival), present garments (visual reference for sign off from designers and directors), and develop and order custom printed fabrics.

GRADING RUBERIC:
%25 - Attendance
%35 - Assignment 1: Virtually copy and fit historical paper patterns. Print and build Toile of garment to check on mannequin.
%20 - Assignment 2: 'Finished' garment. Visually it should be as polished as possible with close ups of all elements and descriptions of what methods you used.
%30 - Assignment 3: Animated presentation of costume in motion
