Production

Digital Patterning Software allows the user to easily digitize existing paper patterns, or quickly develop patterns using traditional drafting methods on a digital platform. This means that we can develop, store, and alter patterns quickly and efficiently. 

Archival

The main dashboard you use on Gerber called the PLM, is used to store and organize all show information. Everything from Actors measurements, thread type, fabric type to design illustrations can be stored here. This could be invaluable in reducing costs for remounting of a show, or to travel with touring shows.

3D Modelling

Gerber has state of the art 3D modelling capabilities which allow us to accurately create 3D sample garments. Their technology assess and interprets fabric choices and customized body shapes to give accurate pattern assessment information.

Custom Print Fabric
This tool could help us accurately plan and create customized fabrics. As the quality of custom fabrics printed in Canada grows so does the demand for the resources to use these options to their fullest potential in specialized costume design
